Ege University Çeşme Tourism Faculty will hold the “Ege University IV. International Gastronomy, Tourism and Cultural Studies Symposium” (hybrid) between 8-9th of June 2023. Due to the earthquake occurred on the southeastern of Turkey, the theme of our symposium is "Gastronomy and Diet During Natural Disasters". ICS2023 will focus on understanding the tourism sphere by discussing its relationship with gastronomy, cultural heritage, environment. We also aim to bring together the sector representatives and academicians to evaluate the topics from a multidisciplinary aspect and thus bridge the gap between the tourism industry and academia.
